Niall Cussen is the Chief Executive and Planning Regulator at the Office of the Planning Regulator (OPR)  – their functions are to oversee the effective delivery of planning services of Irelands 31 local authorities and An Bord Pleanála, including implementation of national and regional policies, and to conduct research and public awareness programmes in relation to planning. 

Dr Lorraine D’Arcy is TU Dublin’s Sustainability Action Research & Innovation Lead investigating the influence of urban and transport design on mobility, social cohesion, public health, well-being and on the environmental (social and physical) determinants of health.

Professor Catherine Woods is Director of the Physical Activity for Health Research Centre at the University of Limerick (UL), and her research cuts across the themes of lifestyle, health and technology seeking more systematic methods of bringing research, practice and policy closer together to achieve real and sustainable impact. 

Professor Tony Holohan is Director at the Centre for One Health at UCD which is dedicated to advancing research, education and collaboration on the One Health approach to solving global health challenges which recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal and planetary health.  The UCD One Health Centre aims to research, educate and build awareness in relation to One Health, to promote the use of this approach and to become a national and world-class leader in developing and facilitating strategies to implement One Health.

Dr. Kira Fortune is Regional Advisor for Healthy Cities, Health Promotion and Well-being within the World Health Organization (WHO) Europe Region. Kira has extensive experience of global partnerships and multi-sectoral collaboration in implementation and practical application of Healthy Ageing, Social Determinants of Health, Community Engagement and Health in all Policies
