A new film created by older people from Leitrim, Cavan, Donegal, Mayo, Monaghan and Sligo, with artist Marie Brett was launched on St. Brigid’s Day on the 1st February, 2023 in the W8 Centre, Manorhamilton. The film entitled ‘Brigid, Our Spirit Stirring’ captured the creative outputs of an Age and Opportunity art project carried out in these six counties in partnership with Age Friendly Ireland and funded by the Creative Ireland Programme.
