Dementia Understand Together

“Let’s Talk Dementia” Webinar

“Let’s talk dementia” will take place next week.

There has been great interest so far with almost 1200 registrations and we hope more will be able to join us as well.

Join our upcoming webinar with Dr Seán O’Dowd, Consultant Neurologist, Tallaght University Hospital; and Clinical Lead, National Dementia Services, along with an expert panel to the ‘Let’s Talk Dementia’ webinar on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 (11.00am – 12.15pm). The expert panel will explore dementia and its various types, the vital role of early diagnosis, and how to access health and social care services and supports. The session will also highlight the profound impact of social inclusion on health and wellbeing, and practical ways we can all contribute to creating a more inclusive society for people living with dementia.

Azure: Dementia Inclusive Gallery Tour – Navan

There is a wonderful exhibition coming up called Moments of Being which will be running from Sat 18 Jan – Sat 15 March. While the exhibition is on, Learning and Public Engagement Coordinator, Deirdre Rogers, is offering free guided exhibition tours specifically designed to support people living with dementia and their family, friends or professional carers. 

About the tours: Engage at a relaxed pace and explore up to three artworks in our gallery spaces on level 3. Looking and discussing art in the moment together, these social tours are followed by complimentary tea/coffee in Solstice Café. Azure Tours take place on the last Friday of every month during our exhibitions. Each tour comprises of small groups of up to 8 people. 

There is flexibility in the planning, so please get in touch if these dates or times do not suit you.
