Age Friendly Housing Case Studies

Local authorities are building Age Friendly Housing around the country in line with national policy to prepare for an ageing population.

On 28th November Kieran O’Donnell, TD, Minister of State for Local Government and Planning at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage launched a case study publication featuring Age Friendly Housing Models from local authorities across Ireland.

Age Friendly Ireland developed this report in collaboration with Age Friendly Technical Advisors in each of the 31 local authorities. The document highlights how Ireland is preparing housing provision for the ageing population.
