Longford Age Friendly Programme hosts a very vibrant Longford OPC which meets approx. 6 times per year. Kitty Hughes is our current OPC Chair and Kitty is also the NOPC Chair.
The OPC identify priority areas of need, raise issues of importance and inform and influence the decision making process of Longford Age Friendly Programme.
The membership is comprised of individual older people and older people’s groups, and they are structured to be representative of the diversity of the older population within our community. They provide the voice of older people to support the Alliance at strategic level as well as provide co-design solutions in response to challenges and barriers.
