Raheny Age Friendly June Coffee Morning

There was 64 people in attendance this month, and it was great to welcome in some new faces.

Our guest speaker this month was local historian, active member of Raheny Heritage Society and author of St Anne’s.The Story of a Guinness Estate, Joan Sharke.

She gave a really interesting presentation on the history of St Anne’s Park and the significant involvement of the Guinness family in its development. Joan’s book is sadly out of publication and a copy is available in Raheny Library.
