Roscommon memory cafe event

Roscommon Dementia Alliance Committee held their Memory Café supporting people living with Dementia and their family and carers at Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle on Wednesday June 28th at 2.30pm. They have hosted monthly dementia cafés since the beginning of 2023. The event includes music, song and professional support and assistance for families living with dementia. These gatherings have attracted older individuals and community groups from over 20 different locations within the county, including residential centres, day care facilities, active age groups, and town teams. The dementia cafés provide support and guidance for families living with dementia. Their new website has been launched in May of this year www.roscommondementia.ie.
