‘From her Spinning Wheel’: A Woolcraft Talk for Heritage Week with Annie Gambrill

Celebrating the theme of this year’s Wexford Heritage Week of connections, routes and networks, Annie Gambrill will give an illuminating talk from her spinning wheel.

Hear about how textiles connect us, historical routes from the first domesticated sheep and wool trade to modern day Woolcraft and how all of this was joined by a worldwide network of shepherds, mills, spinners, weavers, artisans and crafters.
