Community Information Event - Manorhamilton, Leitrim. March 2023

Leitrim County Council hosted a Community Information Event on Thursday, March 23, at The Bee Park Resource Centre, Manorhamilton. The event was part of the council’s delivery of the Healthy Leitrim Programme in conjunction with An Garda Síochána Community Engagement & Crime Prevention Units working together with Leitrim PPN, Muintir na Tíre and Leitrim Development Company’s SICAP Programme. 

The overall aim of the event was to connect people to their community and to enable people to take the steps needed to live well, safely, and independently in their own homes. The focus of this event was aimed at all members of the community with a particular emphasis on people over 55 years attending. Overall, the attendance at the event exceeded expectations and was a great success.
