Tuesday 7 May | 10.30 am – 11.30 am | Entitlements for Older People

A talk from Citizen’s Information on entitlements for retirees, particularly on pensions, as part of the Bealtaine festival and Age Friendly Libraries.

Tuesday 7 and 14 May | 3.00 pm – 4.00 pm | Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle and supportive style of movement. It enables us to maintain mobility and build flexibility while providing benefits for both mental and emotional health. Each session includes seated yoga movements and breathing exercises along with time for relaxation so you will leave feeling both refreshed and rested!

Thursday 9 May | 10.30 am – 11.30 am | Positive, Independent, and Safe Living with ALONE

To mark the Bealtaine festival and Age Friendly Libraries, Veronica Reidy will talk about ALONE’s work, and how the charity enables older people to live independently at home as well as providing befriending services, advocacy, and support.
