Bantry Age Friendly Info Guide Launch

On Wednesday March 22nd, Mayor of County Cork, Cllr. Danny Collins, launched the updated Age Friendly Information Guide for the Bantry Area. Bantry Age Friendly first produced this guide in September 2021 and have now completed a second edition with updated and additional information.

The Guide contains over 100 contact numbers for emergency services, healthcare, social groups, churches, transport, County Council and other public services along with a range of relevant helplines. It is intended as a handy reference for any services required in an emergency. A notable feature of this edition of the guide in the increased number of defibrillator locations included. These cover the Bantry, Kealkill, Ballylickey, Glengarriff and Sheepshead areas.
