Age Friendly Ireland Projects shortlisted for the LAMA Awards

LAMA Awards

We are delighted that two of Age Friendly Ireland and Meath County Council projects have been shortlisted for the Local Authority Members Association (LAMA) Awards, under the category ‘National Impact Award’.

National Impact Award:

This category recognises a project which has had a positive effect upon the nation as a whole, enhancing the environment, cultural or social activities, transport links or the economic stability or growth of the local and national communities who use it.

Shortlisted Projects are:
  • Healthy Age Friendly Homes Programme
  • National Age Friendly Library Recognition Programme

The awards will take place in Rochestown Park Hotel, in Co. Cork on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025.
