The Wexford Older Person Council meets 4 times a year. The Local Age Friendly programme funded Chess training in conjunction with Wexford Library, this proved very successful and resulted in the participants setting up their own club and meeting in the library weekly.
Social Dancing also took place across the Five Municipal Districts last year and the programme is running this again this year. The aim is to get people back socialising and having a chat over a cup of tea after the dancing.
