Donegal Older Persons Council is part of the structures of the Donegal Age Friendly Programme, it is open to individuals over 55 years of age or representatives of community organisations that support older people in their area. There are currently in excess of 80 members of Donegal OPC. The work programme of the OPC is managed by an executive committee comprising of 16 members.
Donegal OPC held a health and wellbeing event in March 2023 that featured Advance Care Planning, the importance of being active for your mental health and an An Introduction to the Living Well Programme.
Registration for Donegal OPC remains open and people can become a member by contacting the Age Friendly Programme Manager.
