Roscommon’s Public Participation Network (PPN) held their Plenary Meeting & Community Expo Event in the Abbey Hotel Roscommon on Wednesday, 27th November 2024.

Roscommon’s Older People’s Council (OPC) Chairman, Bernie Kearney has been elected onto the Climate Action, Environment & Rural Water Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) of Roscommon County Council. Well done Bernie, the Age Friendly Team are very proud of you and know you will be a great asset to this SPC!

There were many excellent information stands at this event, flying the flag for the Age Friendly Programme were Roscommon’s Healthy Age Friendly Homes Coordinator, Amanda Scanlon and Roscommon’s Age Friendly Programme Manager, Sheila Coyle.
