DLR Festival of Inclusion 2024 & Brain Health Events! GBHI Talks, Concert, Tea Dance & Training

The upcoming Brain Health & Dementia Inclusive events attached and below, are taking place over the coming week as part of dlr Festival of Inclusion 2024

We hope to see you at some of these fantastic Talks, Concert, Tea Dance and Online Training and sincere thanks to everyone who has organised these events: 

  • Tuesday 21st May – Free Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) talk on ‘The Art of Living – Early on-set Dementia’, 6.30 – 8.30p.m in the Studio Theatre, Ground Floor, dlr LexIcon, Dún Laoghaire and Mike Hanrahan has curated a great line up of speakers with Kevin & Helena Quaid, Helen Rochford-Brennan, Carmel Geoghegan & Eleanor Edmond – see poster attached and booking on Eventbrite HERE 
  • Wednesday 22nd May – Free GBHI talk on ‘The Poetry of Dance for Brain Health’, 11 – 1p.m, Studio Theatre, Ground Floor, dlr LexIcon, Dún Laoghaire with Professor Ian Robertson, Singer Julie Feeney, Poet Veronica Casey, Neuroscientist & Dancer, Anusha Yasoda Mohan & Mike Hanrahan – poster attached & booking on Eventbrite HERE 

  • Free Dementia Inclusive Tea Dance taking place in the Stillorgan Talbot Hotel, Friday 24th May from 2-4p.m

  • The Big Sing Community Choirs & Newpark Community Orchestra concert, Sunday 19th May, 3.30 – 5p.m, St. Michaels Church, Dún Laoghaire – we are delighted that members of the Sweet Memories, Dementia Inclusive Choir will be singing at this event and see Song Book attached and all welcome to sing along together on the day!
