Age Friendly Carlow are pleased to announce that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Carlow Older People’s Council (OPC) will take place as follows:

Date: Tuesday, 25th November 2025
Time: 2.30 p.m.
Venue: Woodford Dolmen Hotel

The Carlow Older People’s Council is a key part of the Age Friendly Programme, ensuring that the voice of older people is represented in decisions that shape local policies, services, and the ongoing implementation of the Carlow Age Friendly Strategy. The OPC provides a platform for older people to engage directly with Carlow County Council, partner agencies, and community organisations.

The AGM is an opportunity to:
• Hear the 2025 Annual Report
• Take part in Planning Ahead for 2026
• Participate in the Election of the Committee
• Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, and pastries
• Join them for a warm and welcoming afternoon
• Have your voice heard on matters that matter to you
• Connect with members and non-members from across the county – bring a friend!

Nomination forms for the OPC Executive Committee are available from the Carlow County Council Age Friendly Office. Completed nomination forms should be returned to the office by 5 p.m. on Friday, 21st November 2025.
