BDO Ireland and Nursing Homes Ireland are delighted to invite you to our upcoming webinar at 11:00 am, on Tuesday 26 November, where we will hold a panel discussion to present and discuss the findings of our BDO/Nursing Homes Ireland Private & Voluntary Nursing Home Survey 2023/24

The Survey was undertaken in 2024, with the primary purpose to report comprehensively on the state of the Private and Voluntary Nursing Home Sector in Ireland. The areas we will cover include:

  • Trends in staff costs, turnover rates and recruitment;
  • Trends in dependencies/care complexities and the role of the nursing home (and ancillary services) in the healthcare sector;
  • An overview of key KPIs in 2023 such as Care hours, AVLOS, Dependency and resident profile mix along with financial KPIs including;
    • Staff (and agency) costs;
    • Other direct costs and;
    • Overheads;
  • Capital expenditure obligations vs available supports;
  • Home and bed developments/closures including current bed mix in the sector, and viability of new builds;
  • Regulatory landscape and Governing policy.

Your presenters will be Brian McEnery (Managing Partner at BDO Ireland) and Tadhg Daly (Chief Executive Officer at Nursing Homes Ireland).
 
There will be time allocated at the end of the session for Q&A and you will have the chance to submit your questions during the session
