Age Friendly Tipperary

Tipperary Age Friendly work closely with other agencies in the county in our Alliance which
meets quarterly. The core of Tipperary Age Friendly is the Older Peoples Council and the
Executive Committee of the Older Peoples Council which meets 6 times a year. Tipperary Age
Friendly at its heart is represented by the voice of the older person and a key phrase is that
“if you design for the young, you exclude the old, but if you design for the old you
include everyone”
.
