Members of Louth OPC and the Age Friendly Louth Team attended the OPC Convention in Kilkenny last week.

A great time was had by all, a big thank you to the Age Friendly Kilkenny Team and Age Friendly Ireland Team for all their hard work in organising a great event.

The theme was Ageing with Independence and Louth OPC and Limerick OPC members agreed a number of key priorities for the OPC’s  to deliver in 2024

These include challenges around a cashless society and lack of access to toilet facilities in public places and on public transport.

The members will inform their local OPC of these priorities for 2024 and will work towards addressing these issues with the OPC, local Alliance and Age Friendly Program Manager.
