  • Together fm and DCC South Central Community and Social Development Team  – Young at Heart

Together FM will launch a new radio series ‘Young at Heart’ where local older people will be invited to get interviewed about their lives. They will also be invited to get involved in their local community radio station as volunteers. This initiative aims to highlight older people’s experiences and incorporate valued voices from our community into local radio.

There will be music provided by octogenarian DJ George Kelly, host of radio show ‘All Kinds of Everything’. The launch of “Young at Heart” will highlight some of the incredible work surrounding aging initiatives in this area and refreshments will be provided.
