Kildare’s Intergenerational Social Media Training

Age Friendly Ireland | National | Kildare

Age Friendly Kildare

The Kildare Age Friendly programme were delighted to welcome young people from youth Projects across the Kildare/Newbridge Municipal District to deliver an intergenerational social media training session to our OPC. The young people were paired 1-1 with our OPC members who wanted to learn about Facebook, Instagram and Tiktoc.

The young people created a PowerPoint presentation and sat with our OPC and went through all the new terminology etc and got our members on social media. Many forged fond relationships and shared stories and will be meeting up again. We found out that both the young people and our OPC members have lots of music talent so watch this space!!!
