The Generation Games are an intergenerational activity for people of all ages and abilities organised by local communities as a “do-it-yourself event”.


Get ideas and find out more about getting started at a short introductory webinar on Wednesday 28th of August 12-12:30.
Examine how to these intergenerational games build on the strengths that different generations have to offer, create mutual respect and help challenge ageism internationally. The half hour Lunch and Learn webinar covers international examples from people who have run the games:

  • “How it Works” with Anne Berit Rafoss, Centre for an Age-Friendly Norway
  • Experiences of the Generation Games with Elisabeth Overland
  • Q&A with links to free toolkits

This webinar will be of interest to Community Groups, Residents Groups, Active Retirement groups, Older Peoples Councils, Sports Partnerships, TY coordinators, Integration Teams, youth workers and anyone interested in developing locally led projects to support equality.
