Bridging the Gap – Local Authorities and Disability Inclusion

Disability Federation of Ireland has commissioned Dr. Charles Mahoney and Dr. Mary Keogh to undertake research on the implementation of the UN CRPD at a local level.

The final report will be launched at an event on the 28th January 2025 at the IHREC Building, 16-22 Green Street, Rotunda, Dublin 7, 10:30am to 2:00pm. 

The event is an opportunity to bring together local government officers, representatives from relevant public bodies, researchers, policy experts, and community advocates to discuss the findings of recent research, share perspectives, and chart a path forward for meaningful change.
