On Monday, 9th December 2024, Age Friendly Limerick held the Annual General Meeting of the Older Person’s Executive. The event marked a significant milestone as we bid farewell to three long-serving and deeply committed members: Pat Begley, Mary Hallinan, and Pearl Walsh.

Pat Begley has been a dedicated member for 10 years, even stepping into the role of interim chair during his tenure. Mary Hallinan and Pearl Walsh have each contributed 6 years of distinguished service, leaving a lasting impact on our organisation.

To honour their invaluable contributions, the three were presented with Certificates of Appreciation and bespoke glass pieces commissioned from Pauline Quigley Glassworks, a token of our heartfelt gratitude for their dedication.

Their commitment and efforts have been instrumental in driving the success of Age Friendly Limerick, and they will be greatly missed.
