Description

The group consists of approximately forty elderly patrons. This group has been run by Yvonne McEntaggart and helpers for the past twenty five years. Patrons are collected by minibus from approximately a 6 to 9 mile radius and are brought to the parish hall, where they are greeted with a cuppa and a snack. As this is a voluntary group it survives on local business donations. Patrons enjoy exercise, chair aerobics, bingo and numerous other activities. Our patrons also enjoy birthday parties and sing a longs with their local resident musician. Competitions are run for events such as the Easter bonnet competition. The group go on an annual holiday to a hotel for three days. It would be impossible to name all the activities this group do, in fact they tick all the boxes on the category list except housing.
