The project’s overarching aim was to keep the older people around Killorglin/ Killarney and the surrounding areas connected digitally. When Covid-19 struck, They needed to find a way to stay in touch with their clientele and to enable them to stay in touch with family and friends.

Evaluation / Report:
Feedback from the Acorn users has overwhelmingly been positive with many now using the Acorn every day to access local news and stay in touch with family.
