Description
Sport Ireland Older Adults Booklet and Cara Home Exercise Booklets were printed and distributed to Older Adults within the Community to help them engage in physical activity at home. Age and Opportunity DVDS were also given out to individuals and groups that requested a DVD. Resources were printed and distributed. Anyone who contacted and groups we felt would benefit from the resources received the booklets. The booklets were a guide for individuals to follow from the comfort of their own homes.

- Getting the Booklets printed so people had a physical hard copy they could follow
Challenges in Planning / Delivery
- Trying to circulate information through as many avenues as possible so people know they can avail of the resources
- Promotion- Not all this age group use social media
Outcomes / Benefits
- Helped individuals keep up their physical activity from the comfort of their own homes
- Resources can be used ongoing for future programmes
Evaluation / Report:
People enjoyed the resources but would have also liked a DVD showing them how to complete all the exercises on the resource.
