Programme: Wicklow
WHO Theme: Civic Participation and Employment
Status: In Progress
Description
Many company’s stipulate in contracts that retirement is compulsory when the employee comes to a certain age. Generally in their sixties. We at the Arklow Bay however do not feel employees are past it when they reach this age. We take each employee on a case by case basis & we do our best to encourage them to stay in the workforce in a way that suits both the employee & employer.
One of our employees is in his nineties!
