Modular ramps

Description

We are the first company in Ireland to offer modular ramps that are fully recyclable and reusable. We can create a ramp to suit the individuals home without any damage caused to the garden or home. Our ramps are fully grant funded and permanent.

Aim of Initiative

Our aim is to change the way home adaptions are carried out. Being sustainable and eco friendly is possible for people with mobile issues.

Who is it aimed at

Our initiative is aimed at anyone with mobility issues, the local authorities and especially the local county councils.

3 Steps critical to success

1. The first step is to make contact, we discuss the needs of the client and any occupational therapist reports.
2. We then do a site visit to get all the measurements. We then create a 3D drawing of what the ramp will look like at the home. This gives the client a great insight to what the final ramp will look like.
3. Usually within 1 / 2 weeks we book in the installation, a day and date that suits the client. Installation of an average ramp takes 2-3 hours.

3 Challenges in Planning / Delivery

1. Getting the word out to the public.
2. Making people aware they can apply for a grant for our ramps.
3. Having enough stock for the demand.

1. The outcome is a fully safe , with the correct gradient ramp without any lips to cause accidents
2. The client regains their independence.
