Description
During the course of our business we have noticed an increase in the need for disability/grant aided bathrooms. On several occasions the customer has not been able to attend our showrooms in person due to age/mobility issues and as a result the tiles/ware required has been selected by their representative/family member on their behalf.
We came up with the possibility of bringing the showroom to the customer and as a result our concept of the mobile showroom was born.
We purchased a Luton Body low-loader van and transformed it into a mini showroom with a full bathroom display catering for grant aided, easy access bathroom renovations designed with state of the art bathroom ware and tiles.
Inside the fully accessible van our customers can avail of our 3D design option which will bring their bathroom to life.
Aim of Initiative
The aim is to take the pressure and stress from the customer. We bring the showroom to them at a time and date arranged between us and we talk them through their options while showing them what bathroom ware and tiles we provide. The customer can do all of this from the comfort of their location without having to travel to our showroom.
Our expert designer will help them to design the bathroom to cater for their individual and specific needs. They will also assist the customer in completing any paperwork relating to grant aided applications making the whole process as easy and hassle free as possible.
Who is it aimed at
This service is primarily aimed towards older customers and customers with disabilities or mobility needs.
3 Steps critical to success
- Our first step was to locate a van that would be accessible and be able to adequately serve ours and our customer’s needs.
- Then we had to create a design that would correctly showcase our concept.
- Our final step was to promote our idea.

- Our vision board then came to life and and we designed the van.
- Following extensive research we were able to finally be in a position to promote our concept.
