Description
We have found that aged customers like the reading glasses display, which offers more time to enjoy the photos, and they like adding their own stories of bygone days. The age friendly menu size is very suitable and can be read in most cases without glasses which causes a lot less fuss and time spend looking on person or in handbag for same. The smaller breakfast is well accepted, and the customer does not have to ask or feel under any pressure to adjust the size of meal and it is also priced accordingly. The safety bar gives ease of movement when leaving the tearooms to go to museum, etc. and the customer feels they can manage the step with safety, also we always try to be on hand to help. We will add a chair “we care with a chair” outside our premises for anyone who wishes to rest while out walking and can enjoy the old railway houses/building with all their window boxes which they can appreciate better while resting. Also through our museum and model railway we will add chairs at intervals, again so customers can view the displays/pictures without exhaustion.
