Specific Actions / Commitments

  1. We recently purchased an elevated cushion, that can rotate, for the pre test room. This can help the customers reach the pre test machine at ease and move to the oct machine without any extra strain. we found that some of our customers were finding the pre test a little uncomfortable if the machine was too high, even if it was at the lowest it could go. This creates a seamless transition from one machine to the next, while giving the patient extra height to reach the machine.
  2. We also purchased a magnified mirror. More customers now than ever over the age of 60 are trying multifocal lenses. Their biggest query was that they found it difficult to put in lenses with a standard mirror as it wasnt magnified enough. This mirror allows for 5 times more magnification making this process easier. Also some customers prefer to use this mirror when trying on glasses as it really helps them see the frames without using the standard mirrors in store. To make the customer as comfotable as possible we can bring a selection of frames to them and get them to take a seat and with this mirror they will really be able to see exactly how they look with the glasses on.
  3. Due to social distancing we have removed some of our seating in the waiting area. However we have located some chairs with padding and have them on reserve upstairs. if for any reason a customer finds the normal wooden chairs too uncomfortable we can swap them out easily for them. if they would like to take a seat on the shop floor and we can bring the frames to them instead of them standing up and browsing themselves. We are more than willing to accommodate and help in any way we can.
